Meet The Musicians:
Graduate Far East State Academy of Arts (Russia, Vladivostok).
She began her performing career in Russia (Primorsky Regional Philharmonia). And then in Seoul (South Korea) where she performed with Korean orchestras and bands. Natalia organized Russian cultural projects in collaboration with Russian Embassy in South Korea where she also worked for a few years. She participated International Festival “Sori” with Tango Quartet “Coamouros”.
Since 2018 Natalia lives in Auckland where she organized “Milonga De Cuatro” Tango Band.
Natalia successfully continues her career as a teacher in Auckland and also organizes performances for young talents.
Natalia Meyta
Studied at the Urals Mussorgsky State Conservatory in Russia (MMus). After graduation, Olga was invited to teach at her conservatory.
For the next 15 years, she played as a member of the chamber orchestra & traveled with the concert tours to Germany, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, the UK, Canada & the US.
Since moving to New Zealand in 2016, Olga has been a regular player with Bach Musica, Auckland Choral & Hawks Bay Orchestra, among others.
Also, Olga is a dedicated teacher who successfully prepares her students for international exams.
Olga Khomenko
Graduated Fujian Normal University (Fujian, China).
Lian placed 2nd in Australian International Accordion Championships in Sydney, Australia, and also placed at the South Pacific International Accordion Championship in Auckland, New Zealand.
Lian was the guest artist at the South Pacific Accordion Championships and Festival, and received the Rose Bowl Award for the Best Classical Performance of the weekend.
In 2017, Lian was the soloist in the Auckland Accordion Symphonietta's premiere of Gary Daverne’s composition “Song of the Far North”.
She actively performs as a member of the Auckland Accordion Symphonietta nowadays.
Also Lian is a teacher with extensive experience working with both beginners and advanced students.
Lian Jones
Graduated Music Academy in Belgrade (Serbia).
After graduating Marija took a permanent position as a contrabass player with the Serbian Radio Television Symphony Orchestra. Upon arrival to NZ, Marija has worked as the chamber/orchestra contrabassist in various orchestras in New Zealand, including Opus Orchestra from Hamilton, Orchestra Wellington, Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and Manukau Symphony Orchestra from Auckland.
Marija is also a qualified teacher and teaches in Auckland.
